Reggie Bullock should provide outside shooting and solid defense at small forward. With Caron Butler getting older, he could provide the Clippers with another option to eventually start in another year or two.
25. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS -
The Knicks selected another shooter to add to their roster, that should allow them to spread the floor for superstar forward, Carmelo Anthony. He has the mentality to thrive in the big city and is not shy about taking his share of shots. Makes you wonder if they will even try to keep J.R. Smith back to the Big Apple.
24. NEW YORK KNICKS -
The Pacers needed more depth off the bench to go along with a very good and talented starting unit. Perhaps with more production from their reserves, they may have been able to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.
23. INDIANA PACERS -
Brooklyn can definitely use some more depth in the frontcourt after completing deal with Boston that can't be finalized until July 10th. Plumlee should be able to provide some frontcourt depth. Between Kevin Garnett getting older and Brook Lopez continuing to have injury concerns, they will definitely need another player to fill in for both power forward and center positions.
22. BROOKLYN NETS -
The Jazz selected PF/C Gorgui Dieng for the Timberwolves to finish off trade with them. He should provide a defensive presence and rebounding in the paint regardless of whether Minnesota is able to retain C Nikola Pecovic or not.
21. UTAH JAZZ -
Golden State drafts another guard as if they don't have enough of them already. But it is understandable that they acquire another guard since G Jarrett Jack is an unrestricted free agent. The Warriors may have to pay more than they want to keep him.
30. PHOENIX SUNS -
The Thunder made this selection of SG Archie Goodwin for the Phoenix Suns, who are looking find a running mate in the backcourt with PG Goran Dragic. He is very raw and will take time to develop, but the Suns have time to wait because they are not making the playoffs anytime soon.
29. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER -
The Spurs draft another player from France late in the first round that is suppose to have a lot of upside. He will not help the team this year and be stashed away overseas.
28. SAN ANTONIO SPURS -
The Utah Jazz addressed their depth in the frontcourt, assuming that both, Al Jefferson and Paul Milsap leave via free agency. This guy can basically dunk a basketball without even jumping because of his long 7'9" wingspan. He is a project that Utah is willing to take a chance on.
27. DENVER NUGGETS -
This pick was traded amongst several teams, but ultimately, this selection was made for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He provides another wing player that plays defense.
26. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES -
