SOLOMON HILL (6'7" 225 LBS)
Hill is a hard-nosed tough and physical wing on the basketball court. He gives consistent effort on both ends of the floor. Takes the ball to the hole strong and has consistently improved his jumpshot over his college career. He plays more like a power forward than what his size would be ideal for, which would be at the small forward position. He is an average athlete and will have a hard time taking players off the dribble because his ball-handling needs work. But he does take the ball to basket strong. He is an excellent rebounder for his position. Even though shooting mechanics are not the greatest, he can make teams pay if left open for 3 pointers. He has a very limited ceiling, but could develop into a decent role player at the small forward position. And could maybe play power forward with a small lineup, which the NBA seems to be trending towards.
BEST NBA COMPARISON: SAM YOUNG
Note: The current or past NBA player comparisons for these prospects do not indicate that I'm predicting that they will be as good or as bad.
